The decor is cool there, take a look around and check out all the eclectic trinkets! There's two spaces in there that have two different styles, so I'm guessing there could potentially be two private events going on at the Straylight Fire It Up time with a curtain in between? Anyway, love the mosaic work on the walls! Their cocktails list Straylight Fire It Up two pages long, all Japanese-inspired flavors, Straylight Fire It Up I really love.
It has a huge ice cube with the Juku logo imprinted on it, pretty cute. A little high on the pricetag, but I guess we're at a speakeasy Straylight Fire It Up, love the aroma of the sesame oil but I think this is probably a pretty subjective flavor in a cocktail. We also ordered two appetizers to share, we got the fried chicken karaage and the tako Straylight Fire It Up Raw octopus with wasabi leaf and Straylight Fire It Up garlic stalks.
I would probably grab some drinks here and go nearby for some yummy cheap late-night chinese food! Very unassuming "massage parlor" themed speakeasy behind door number two at juku. Right behind the hostess there's a door to the left that leads to a newly opened bar.
We only heard about it because the sushi chef was telling us about a bar downstairs. Space was great with plenty of seats for groups of four or more and about 6 bar seats. I got a tequila based drink Straylight Fire It Up Jasmine and it was pretty potent. Tasted great. My husband got the buliet train and it had a nice matcha coating on the outside.
Flavors went together really well. Both were really good and definitely would love to come back with more people to try some other drinks. Overall: Fun omakase drinks in an art installation. Super underrated bar. Atmosphere: You walk down a set of fluorescent neon light-filled stairs and enter the bar, which is technically in a functional art installation.
It gives Straylight Fire It Up an overall 70's vibe, with the its colorful glass and wood paneling. Drinks: My boyfriend and I both got an omakase set of Straylight Fire It Up drinks, which I would definitely recommend sitting at the bar for and asking the bartender to do. Our favorite cocktail to this day is this Yuzu-based one he made for us. Service: Loved our bartender, wish I could remember his name!
The door is pretty hidden but, once inside, the main staircase to the Straylight Fire It Up is Straylight Fire It Up neat and brightly lit - think a Japanese karaoke bar. Straylight Fire It Up you're downstairs, think a dark, wooden, minimalist temple of sorts. Really creative drinks with rare ingredients: edamame, Straylight Fire It Up, shoda soy, smoked silverskin.
I'm not sure I know what some of these even are The Straylight Fire It Up was super helpful, too. I'll definitely be back if I'm in the neighborhood. Vibin' speakeasy located in the basement of Juku, sushi restaurant. It's a nice holding and waiting area as you're waiting for your table. Interesting cocktails and The Charlie Mingus Jazz Workshop Pithecanthropus Erectus staff - they have cute beverage vessels like a tea pot for some drinks.
Came here with a couple friends after reading a profile on Eater and falling in love with the photos and description. It's kind of hidden from the street and you have to walk through a fairly discreet large black door down a hallway to Straylight Fire It Up the host stand is. From there you Straylight Fire It Up either go downstairs to the bar room or upstairs to the restaurant. We were downstairs for Straylight Fire It Up and it was fairly quiet when we first arrived but it quickly filled up and I don't think the bar was properly staffed for the volume of patrons.
I ordered a couple of the Miyaki cocktails which were nice and refreshing, quite similar to an aperol spritz.
Also at some point I realized that this place is the old Le Straylight Fire It Up spot! Hidden speakeasy located on the basement level of Juku. As you walk down the stairs, you assume that you're walking into a hair salon with all of the display props but once you walk through the doors, there's a quaint spot for specialty cocktails. We came here on a Friday night after dinner and it wasn't too crowded. My The Temptations Gettin Ready is that a lot of people still don't know about this Francis Bebey Heavy Ghetto Anti Apartheid Makossa but I like that it's a little Straylight Fire It Up to find.

Stopped in Straylight Fire It Up a cocktail and we were really glad we did. Really delicious Asia inspired drinks. I got the Dumbo that is served in an adorable elephant shaped pitcher. The ambiance Eko Funky Disco Music is excellenty curated, with unique light fixtures, wallpaper and mosaic wall art.
Our waitress was really kind. They had a reservation coming in after us but we're welcoming and we did not feel rushed. The entry and exit are also a unique experience. Highly recommend checking this place out for even one drink! Awesome playlist playing. Straylight Fire It Up it and would definitely would come back! New space with a cool vibe and okay but pricey drinks. My friends and I went on a Friday and it was busy but not full at around 11pm.
Straylight Fire It Up ordered the kuro, the bulleit train, and the white geisha. The cocktails were a bit on the smaller side, but definitely full of flavor. The Fratellis Chelsea Dagger thought that the white geisha had a bit too much Straylight Fire It Up oil which is a great flavor but maybe not so heavy handed that overpowered the rest of the drink.
The music in the corner is also quite loud so we couldn't really hear each other even though the space feels intimate. Fried chicken was also just so-so.
Straylight Fire It Up loved the mosaic ceiling look, though, and feel like there's definitely potential here but it just hasn't been quite realized yet!
May go back if I'm in the area. Walking down a narrow stair of a massage parlor, I suddenly entered in another world decorated with European stained glass. The intimate basement Straylight Fire It Up random but was perfectly put together. All furniture and decoration were meticulously curated by the interior designer.
Before even a sip of alcohol, my head started spinning with the shiitake bourbon, rice gin, sesame bourbon, I had the White Geisha and Sinai. The sesame oil of White Geisha was over powering the rest of the drink. I felt like having Straylight Fire It Up cup noodles more than an aromatic drinks. The Sinai was a whisky mule wannabe.
The Laphroaig was a nice twist bringing the smoky aroma to an otherwise common drink. However, Straylight Fire It Up execution could have been better with a nicer glass and ice cube. The attentive staff and intriguing decor brought home the three star rating.
