When I asked him Stefania Rotolo Spaccotutto they were opening with, he just smiled. How stupid a question was THAT? Next day, Brian and I had a chance to chat in Boulder in the outside courtyard of a beautiful downtown restaurant.

Aug 29,  · Chocolate Watch Band's No Way Out is a solid late sixties psych rock long play that is almost great, almost. The covers are well done and some of their own material is very good but just some. Some tunes on the long play are fairly straight forward hard rock with a Rolling Stones' vibe then they throw some very cool psychedelic licks at ya/5(35).

Aug 02,  · No Way Out is the Chocolate Watchband's debut album released at the tail end of the Summer of Love. In between psychedelic instrumentals and studio experimentation (put there by their engineer and producer as filler) are cuts of white hot garage punk that no doubt influenced the Ramones and L.A. punk bands like the Berlin Brats ten years later/5(14).

The Chocolate Watchband's debut album, No Way Out was also their most heavily Rolling Stones-influenced album, but appreciating the album and what's on it (and what's not) requires some explanation — especially as an original vinyl copy could set you back $ or more.
